Oil Trap, Breather Box, *Oil Separator membrane only* for
Volvo models P1 and p 3 ,with 5 cylinder gasoline fuel injected engines. This diaphragm installed inside of the oil separator breather box assembly of the 5 cylinder P1 and P3 cars. When the diaphragm is ruptured and torn it results in loud squeal noise from the engine, lack of power, rough idle at slow speeds , and engine stalling at the intersections.
You absolutely do not have to disassemble one half of the car to install a new oil separator box. You can only replace the damaged part of the oil separator. The replacement procedure calls for a simple removal of the plastic cover and replacement of the membrane we are providing .
