This is an original Swedish Car Parts design of seat webbing support grid for Volvo 240 series (all years). It is a significant improvement over the original Volvo design, which failed because the manufacturer used paper to wrap the metal supports; over time the paper wrap deteriorated allowing the springs and webbing to slide back and forth - leading to broken supports. Our improved design eliminates the paper wrapping and replaces it with plastic tube which minimizes determination, mildew and as well webbing grid movement while still providing the flexing required, maintaining maximum comfort.
