Fuel Level Gauge Sensor Unit Fuel Sender kit includes:
Sending unit
Fuel pump that goes inside of the tank
Fuel filter for the pump
Lock ring to secure the new part to the tank
Gasket - "O" ring between the tank and the sending unit
Original braided Fuel line between the tank and the main fuel pump.
Please note that some of the components from your old sending unit will be re-used by you during the replacement procedure:
Fuel pump plastic housing , that holds fuel pump to the sending unit.

If your Volvo has a difficult time starting, dead fuel level gauge, vehicle does not run properly when the gas tank is at least half full, or the unit simply rusted out and fell apart you need order one of these units IMMEDIATELY.
. Many of you have done the replacement procedure numerous times, and for those of you that have not done this; to replace the sending unit , you do not have to remove the gas tank from the car. It can be done through the trunk. In the trunk you will find a galvanized plate that is secured by 4 screws with 10 mm head. Remove the plate and there is your fuel sending unit.
