Removal of the existing boot and installation of the new one is rather simple .
You will need to separate the boot backing plate from the face plate of the interior panel, The boot is attached via staples to the backing plate.
You will use a clear adhesive to glue new boot to the backing plate and to assemble the face plate and backing plate together.
You will not use the staples.
