Removal of the existing boot and installation of the new one is rather simple.
You will need to separate the boot backing plate from the face plate of the interior panel, The boot is attached via staples to the backing plate.
You will use a clear adhesive to glue new boot to the backing plate and to assemble the face plate and backing plate together.
You will not use staples.
