In one of the pictures, we are showing a proper installation of the switch rotary portion around the door lock cylinder. The switch has a U-shaped fork-type extruded portion that has to be positioned horizontally. This will allow the rotary part of the door lock cylinder to engage with the corresponding section of the switch that will engage with the contact when rotated.
