Volvo VVT Oil Control Valve – Exhaust Camshaft (2.4L & 2.5L T5 Engines)

This is a new aftermarket Variable Valve Timing (VVT) oil control valve for the exhaust camshaft on select Volvo 2.4L and 2.5L T5 engines. This valve controls oil flow to the camshaft actuator, adjusting timing on the exhaust side to optimize performance, fuel efficiency, and emissions.

Failure of the exhaust VVT solenoid can lead to poor engine operation, loss of power, or fault codes related to camshaft timing.

Common symptoms of a faulty exhaust VVT oil control valve:
Rough idle or stalling

Engine hesitation, especially at low RPM

Decreased fuel efficiency

Check engine light
