An improved design is available in our store. Designed in-house to fix the common failure point of this part - the plastic membrane located in the center, which dissipates heat. The factory part was designed to fit 4 cylinder Ford engines. When exposed to the heat and pressure of a 5 cylinder Volvo engine, the original factory part wears quickly.

A thermostat improved with our in-house design. We created a part with an improvement to the frequent failure point - the plastic membrane located in the center which dissipates heat. From the factory it was designed to sustain the lower temperature of 4 cylinder Ford engines. Instead, we use a metal part which can handle the heat created by a 5 cylinder Volvo engine, which improves longevity and driving performance.
