During the installation process of this hinge -please observe that the tiny round pins that extend out should be removed exposing the hole under the pin. Pins should be turned around and inserted pack into the openings. There are 4 pins in total. Once the hinge is mounted onto the body panel, these pins should be pushed through until they are flush with the surface of the hinge. The pins will expand out the corresponding four-section clip inside the body panel, securing, and holding the hinge in its place.
