Works for all years and modifications. Has threaded end on the shaft. For removal, simply unscrew your worn out gas spring at the ball joint socket and install new one. You will be threading new part into your cars existing ball joint socket.Same thread size. You do not need to remove ball joint from the car . Ball joint sockets are available and sold separately of needed.
